Professional Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: 14 February 2026 · Last Updated: 26 June 2026 · Contact: contact@justconnections.com

1. Acceptance of Terms

By applying to receive enquiries, purchasing credits, or accepting any lead from JustConnections, you agree to be legally bound by these Professional Terms & Conditions. Purchases are subject to approval. If we're unable to approve your account, we will issue a full refund to the original payment method.

2. Nature of Relationship

Professionals operate as independent businesses. JustConnections is not an employer, contractor, or subcontractor, does not supervise work, and does not enter into service agreements on your behalf. All service agreements are made directly between you and the customer.

3. The Service

JustConnections provides advertising and lead generation services by collecting customer enquiries and delivering them to suitable professionals based on trade and area. We do not guarantee lead volume, conversion rates, customer response times, or job value or outcome.

4. Credit-Based Billing

  • Leads are purchased via prepaid credits
  • One Valid Lead in your service area = one credit, charged when you accept the lead
  • Stretch (out-of-area) leads: leads outside your usual service area are optional. If you have opted in and choose to accept one, it is charged at a reduced rate (a fraction of one credit), which is shown to you before you confirm acceptance
  • Credits are purchased online via our third-party payment processor (Stripe). We do not store your full card details
  • Credits are non-refundable except where a lead is determined invalid under Section 7 and approved under Section 8, or as otherwise set out in Section 1 (approval) and Section 6 (validity)
  • Credit pricing may be reviewed periodically; previously purchased credits remain valid at the purchase price

5. Lead Delivery and Exclusivity

Each lead is delivered exclusively to one professional. JustConnections does not deliver the same lead to competing professionals.

Time to accept. Leads are time-limited. You have a limited window — currently around 2 hours, counted during daytime hours (currently 8:00am–9:00pm; the clock pauses overnight and resumes the next morning) — to accept a lead before it may be offered to the next available professional. Leads you do not accept within this window are not charged.

What you see before accepting. Before you accept, a lead shows the trade, the general area (the outward part of the postcode only, e.g. "CM1"), the job description and timeframe, and a reference number — but not the customer's name, phone, email or full address. The customer's full contact details are revealed only once you accept the lead (at which point a credit is used).

Where a customer does not receive a meaningful response — including where the professional makes no contact attempt within 24 hours of accepting the lead — JustConnections may contact the customer and re-match them to a different professional, so the customer is not left waiting. Any such re-match is treated as a new enquiry and a new lead. The original lead will not be treated as invalid, and the original professional's credit is not refunded, solely because the customer is re-matched following non-response (the professional accepted a valid lead and chose how to act on it).

6. Credit Validity and Expiry

  • Credits are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase
  • Credits not used within 12 months expire automatically
  • One-time extension of up to 3 additional months available, subject to: active account, no outstanding disputes or unpaid balances, written request before expiry date
  • Extensions granted at JustConnections' sole discretion and cannot be granted more than once

7. Definition of a Valid Lead

A "Valid Lead" meets all of the following:

  • Real name — genuine first and last name, not clearly fictitious or incomplete
  • Real UK phone number — structurally valid UK format, not obviously false
  • Real postcode / location — valid UK postcode falling within your selected service area
  • Genuine service request — matches your selected trade, shows genuine intent (not spam)
  • No duplicate within 30 days — same customer not previously delivered to you within 30 days for the same service

8. Lead Disputes and Invalid Leads (72-Hour Window)

Professionals may request review of a lead within 72 hours of delivery, with reasonable evidence that it does not meet the Valid Lead definition — for example, fake or incorrect details, the wrong trade or area, a duplicate, or contact details that prove unreachable after genuine attempts to make contact. "Unreachable" means at least one genuine call and one genuine text (and, where the customer provided an email, at least one email), where: the first attempt is made within 2 hours of accepting the lead (or, if accepted outside 8:00am–9:00pm, by 10:00am the next day); a second attempt, by a different method, is made at least 12 hours after the first; all attempts fall within 48 hours of accepting; and the customer does not respond to any of them. Attempts made only within the final 24 hours before the 72-hour deadline do not qualify. (Contact attempts are only expected where the dispute relies on the customer being unreachable; they are not required where the lead plainly fails the Valid Lead definition in Section 7 — for example, a fabricated name or a non-existent phone number or postcode.)

Disputes must be raised in writing (by email or text) to contact@justconnections.com, so we have a clear record. If a lead is found not to meet the Valid Lead criteria, one credit may be refunded or adjusted at our discretion. If no dispute is raised within 72 hours of delivery, the lead is deemed valid and accepted.

9. Professional Obligations

You confirm that you hold valid public liability insurance, comply with applicable UK laws, are responsible for your own licensing and qualifications, provide accurate onboarding information, treat customer data lawfully and securely, and respond to customers professionally and promptly.

Contactable hours. You should make initial contact with customers within reasonable hours — we recommend between 8:00am and 9:00pm. You must not contact customers at unsociable hours (such as late at night or very early in the morning) unless the customer has expressly invited contact at those times. Repeated complaints regarding unsociable-hours contact may result in suspension or termination under Section 10.

10. Suspension or Termination

JustConnections reserves the right to suspend or terminate access where these Terms are breached, misconduct occurs, repeated complaints are received, or fraudulent behaviour is suspected.

11. Use of Customer Information and Non-Circumvention

Customer details are provided to you solely for the purpose of responding to, quoting for, and (if engaged) carrying out the specific job in that enquiry. You must not: sell, share, publish or pass on customer details to any third party; add customers to marketing lists or contact them about unrelated products or services; or otherwise use their data for any purpose beyond the enquiry. You must handle all customer personal data lawfully and securely in line with UK data protection law.

You must not deliberately circumvent the platform to avoid credit charges — for example, by arranging for a customer to re-submit an enquiry off-platform, or by routing repeat or related work outside JustConnections specifically to avoid fees. Genuine ongoing work directly arranged with a customer you were validly matched with is, of course, yours.

12. Payments, Refunds and Data Processing

Card payments for credits are processed securely by our payment processor, Stripe; refunds (where due under these Terms) are returned to the original payment method. We use third-party providers to operate the service (including hosting, database, email and SMS delivery, and security). Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
